This site doesn't track you. It runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else to watch what you do. Its one cookie only remembers your language.

    Who we are

    xwhystudio.com is run by xwhystudio, which builds and supports websites for small businesses. “We” and “us” on this page means xwhystudio.

    What we collect

    Browsing this site
    Nothing we look at. There are no analytics, no advertising or social tracking. The only cookie is xw_lang, which remembers whether you chose English or Spanish; it holds nothing else and isn't used to track you. The fonts and pictures come from xwhystudio.com itself.
    Hosting
    The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records technical details of each request so it can deliver the site and keep it secure, such as your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser type. See Vercel's privacy policy.
    Checkout pages
    When you open your rep's page, we look up your rep's name and price. When you press Pay, you go to Stripe's checkout page to pay, with the email and business name from your form already filled in.
    The website form
    Before you pay, a form on your rep's page asks for what we need to build your site: your business name, your name, email and phone, your address or the area you serve, your hours, your services, who your customers are, your story, what you want on the site and anything custom, your social pages and web address, your logo and colour choices, and the photos, flyers, logo and documents you choose to send. If you already have a web address, it also asks where it's managed, whether you get email on it and, only if you choose, the name and email of the person who looks after it. To check an address you type, we look it up in public records (the domain registry, and the public DNS services of Cloudflare and Google); only the address is sent. If you fill it in in Spanish, we note that too. After you pay, you can add more. We look up your payment with Stripe so we can match it to your form.
    If you don't pay
    We keep the form and files you sent, so you can pay later without typing it all again, and we may contact you once about it. Ask us and we'll delete them.
    The support form
    Your name, your email, your phone number if you add it, and your message. We keep them so we can answer you. We don't add you to a mailing list.
    Where it's kept
    Your answers are stored in a private database, and your files in private file storage, both run for us by Supabase on servers in the United States. Nothing you send is public: files can't be opened from a link, only by our team after signing in with a password and a one-time code. To stop the forms being abused we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address for a short count of attempts, never the address itself. See Supabase's privacy policy.
    Your rep
    Your rep is the seller, so your rep can see the payment for your order in their own Stripe account, such as the amount, the date and the name and email you entered at checkout. We don't send your rep what you put in the website form or the files you send.

    How we use it

    Only to build and support your website and to answer you: to reply, to build the site, to keep it running, and to keep a record of what was agreed and paid.

    We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their marketing.

  4. 04

    Payments

    Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details with Stripe, and they go to Stripe: they never touch our servers and we never see your full card number.

    Stripe gives us a record of the payment, such as the amount, the date and the name and email address you entered, which we keep for our accounts. See Stripe's privacy policy.

    Your choices

    You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will, unless we have to keep a record by law (for example of a payment). That includes everything you sent through the website form and your photos and files. To ask: contact support.

  6. 06

    Children

    This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact support and we will delete them.

    Changes

    If what the site does changes, for example if we add analytics or an email list, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
